Take a tour of the most fabulous, magical candy factory in the world during the 1971 classic movie “Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” starring Gene Wilder and Jack Albertson, showing this weekend in Fayetteville.

Webb Lindsey and Wade, Chick-fil-A Dwarf House and Main Street Tourism Association present the summer’s second Free Family Film Night under the stars on August 9. Gates will open at 8 p.m., and show time is 9 p.m. or dark.

The mysterious Willie Wonka offers a lifetime supply of chocolate and more to one of the young children who tours his tasty factory and passes the test. Over 30 years old already, this charming and moralistic fairy-tale still is a joy for all senses, with its likable main characters, exhilarating songs and valuable life-lessons. Charlie Bucket, who has to work in order to support his family and can only secretly dream about winning a grand tour in the wonderful chocolate factory owned by the mysterious Willy Wonka, receives a chance to change his life when he discovers he has won a Golden Ticket and in the end gets everything he ever wanted.

Those attending the Free Family Film Night are invited to bring their own blankets or chairs, picnic baskets and coolers to the Villages Amphitheater and enjoy family entertainment under the stars. For further information, call 770-719-4173 or visit www.villagesamphitheater.com.
