Nut Cases

It is confusing enough to listen to reason
Without wordsmiths' scrambling the obvious
And denying their previous near treason
And callin those who disagree acrimonious!

We can not set a time for removing troops
As the enemy would wait for us to leave
Then fire up the terror as we jump hoops,
The military doesn't operate as to deceive

But wait! politicians say that we can
It is just a matter of declaring it done
Send some home, fall back behind the span
Then start the yells that we have won.

As in Korea, Germany and other dalliances
Never to admit very many of our arrogances
