Norris O'Neal Gann, 62, Newnan, died Aug. 3, 2008. He was born June 28, 1946 and was a native of the Sargent Community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Sidney and Julia Adel Stapler Gann Burnham, and a brother, Byron Gann. He was associated with Owens Corning as a quality assurance manager for 37 years. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Searcy Jackson officiating. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Titshaw Gann, Newnan; children, Courtney Mane and Alan Brumbelow Moffett Jr., and Melanie Paige and Brian Young, Williamsburg, Va.; a brother, Bo and Helen Gann, Dawsonville; a grandchild, Alexis Haley Moffett; and sisters, Marie and Dennis Landers, Diane and Richard Clark, Joan and Barry Cochran, Marlene and Bobby Minix, and Judy and David Hill.
