Woolsey Baptist to offer preview of Ramsey’s Financial Peace University this Sunday p.m.Tue, 08/05/2008 - 2:30pm

A free preview of syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey’s “Finanical Peace University” will be offered this Sunday, Aug.10, at 6 p.m., at Woolsey Baptist Church. The 13-week lessons on getting out of debt will begin via a video series Sunday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. Also, an opportunity will be offered on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. Ramsey says, “Get out of debt the same way you learned to walk, one step at a time.” He has taught his principles to millions via radio, books, through Financial Peace University, at live events and online. He teaches how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving. More than 500,000 families have completed Ramsey’s course. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in 13 weeks.
