Dope

The illegal kinds.
In the 60s, such books as "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest," and such movie actors as Carey Grant, made an accounting of altering one's mind as a hip thing to do.

Carey admitted to taking the drug LSD over 60 times to try and avoid alcohol and other devils he possessed. Although the movie didn't delve into drugs much for political reasons, it did try to indicate by the patient's actions, the results.

A certain Harvard professor even advertised that LSD caused women to have hundreds of orgasms if they took it under controlled circumstances---his circumstances.

Today, we all nearly take some kind of drugs in our adult life, and more and more in our youth, also. However, these dosages are carefully controlled--except by wealthy people who can doctor shop. etc.--and cause little harm, and some good.

The non-prescribed drugs, except for anesthesia, are our problem. We blame the country of origin--except for meth, which we make on our own.
However, if we didn't want it and buy it they would have no market.
If we spent as much money on research here as we do trying to control its coming into the USA, we might solve the problem permanently!
