By: The Citizen
The Fayette County Chamber will provide an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and services to the community at the “Find it in Fayette” Community Expo coming in September. Why fight Atlanta traffic when we can “Find it in Fayette?” Fayette businesses provide a wide variety of goods and services, and the Expo will spotlight what is available right here in our backyard. The 2008 “Find in Fayette” Community Expo is September 19 from 3-7 p.m. and September 20 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville. This annual event is free to the community and will offer tasty samples from local restaurants, interesting product demonstrations, and a chance to see what Fayette has to offer consumers. And this year, the Expo will last for two days to give more of the community a chance to participate. Also, in keeping with Fayette’s recent Entrepreneur Friendly designation, the Expo will feature the Entrepreneur Extravaganza that will connect small business owners with local, state, and national resources that can help them start and grow a business. Experts will be available to provide resources for writing a business plan, obtaining a business license, importing and exporting, obtaining financing, and more. The Entrepreneur Extravaganza will be open on Friday only. Fayette businesses can benefit from the Expo in a number of ways. Along with the exposure they receive from their exhibit booth, there will be networking opportunities with other businesses and an exclusive opportunity to visit the Entrepreneur Extravaganza before the show opens to the public. The Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Expo is Delta Community Credit Union. Community Expo Sponsors are Comcast Cable Communications, Inc.; Advanced Aesthetics, LLC; Coweta-Fayette EMC; Ageless Aesthetics, LLC; The Southern Federal Community Credit Union; and Bank of North Georgia. Entrepreneur Extravaganza Sponsors are Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree and Heritage Bank and the Radio Sponsor is Jim Mothorpe, Financial Advisor (in cooperation with 92.5 The Bear). login to post comments |
