National Heights Baptist Church will begin a study of world religions in a series of 45-minute sessions beginning Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 7 p.m. The study will be under the leadership of National Heights’ pastor, Dr. Steve deClaisse-Walford.

In the first session, the study will look at the overall concept of religion, review some approaches to the study of religion, and provide an overview of certain ancient religions.

Subsequent weekly studies will include the formation, history and development, and contemporary forms of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Judaism, and Christianity.

The church is on Ga. Highway 54 between Peachtree City and Fayetteville, about one-half mile East of Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
