Katherine Campbell Brewer and Bobby Alton Barnette Jr. were married June 7, 2008, on the beach on Amelia Island. The Rev. Kim Clemons performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Walker’s Landing. The bride wore an ivory multitier gown. The heavily pleated and strapless neckline defined the bodice which led to the multitier skirt. She carried a bouquet of coral daises and roses. The bride was escorted by her father, James Campbell Brewer. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Sarah Brewer Plyler. Bridesmaids included friends, Mrs. Chalee Floyd Parker and Ashley Clark. The best man was Don Barnette, the groom’s uncle. Other groomsmen included friends Neal Tanner and Jay Miller. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brewer of Peachtree City, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. Langlois of Monroeville, Ala. and Mr. and Mrs. Owen C. Brewer of Perdido Beach, Ala. The groom is the son of the late Bobby Alton Barnette and the late Cathy Lowry, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McGuire and the late Al Barnette and Peggy Sue Majer. Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Hapeville. login to post comments |
