Carriage Lane plans yard sale Aug. 1 & 2
Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a yard sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Proceeds will go to Ranch on Jesus Orphanage Ministries in Uganda, Africa. Donations for the yard sale will be accepted Monday through Thursday, July 28-31, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Bring new and used items to the back of the building. The church is at 101 Carriage Lane, off Ga. Hwy. 54, across the highway from Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Mt. Olive Baptist hosts its own ‘Idol’ search
Mt. Olive Baptist Church Youth department invites all to attend and take part in the first annual Church Idol Search, Saturday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m. Soloists, praise dancers, mime groups, poets, and instrumentalists are all invited to participate.
