Helen Brimer Couch, 83, Newnan, died July 10, 2008. She was born Oct. 5, 1924 in Coweta County. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Couch, in 2000, and parents, Maynard and Clara Brown Brimer. She was retired from Bonnell and also was a greeter a Wal-Mart. She was a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church and was always involved in the music ministry of the church.

Services were at the McKoon Funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dan Dixon and the Rev. Jim Dixon officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Survivors include a son, David Merrill Couch, Newnan; and sisters, Dot and Levi Stephens, Cleveland, Tenn., and Hazel Duncan, Newnan.
