What's Going On?

I don't know anything about failing economics
Except when they are blamed for banks and jobs
They remind me somewhat of the daily comics
And all those wealthy people acting as snobs.

There apparently is no way to make them a science
For whatever you do some bozo will turn the screw
Making his mark in the world with kind of defiance
These characters of ill repute took the money and flew.

Too much credit seems to be the terrible trap
For when the cash flow ceases to balance the books
Some demander issues a call causing a great flap
Then congress yells and screams trying to find the crooks!
Predicting an economic pattern to come, falls on deaf ears
Until every last dollar that can be borrowed is drowned by tears.
