Rapson cares about PTCTue, 10/18/2005 - 4:56pm
By: Letters to the ...
Peachtree City citizens, I ask you to re-elect Steve Rapson to Post 3. Steve Rapson lives and cares about Peachtree City; our issues are Steve’s issues. Steve is just like most of us in Peachtree City, kids in public schools, running from one sporting event to another, juggling career and family. But he does not stop there; he is also concerned about his community, so concerned he spends his nights serving us on Peachtree City Council and he wants to do it again. When you combine what he has already accomplished in office with his unwavering caring of the issues important to our families, you realize Steve Rapson is the clear choice continue to lead Peachtree City. Steve Rapson has common sense and sound judgment. We need more common sense in how we solve our problems and reach conclusions. Let’s use some good old-fashioned common sense and keep Steve Rapson in office this November. Changing “politics as usual” is not an easy task. However, I would submit to you that Steve Rapson has done an admirable job thus far. Most politicians don’t bother to listen to what their constituents want and I have found Steve to not only listen, but also to address the same concerns that I have as a citizen. How refreshing it is to have someone on council that is real and reachable. Steve has no hidden agenda. I have a very busy schedule like most of you in Peachtree City. Traveling for my job takes me out of PTC most weeks, and one of the ways I stay in touch with my community is via e-mail. I e-mail my city council and mayor on a regular basis to voice my point of view. I can always count on Steve Rapson to answer my e-mail requests for clarification or to address my concerns as a citizen. In fact, Councilman Rapson and Mayor Brown are the ONLY PTC elected officials to answer my e-mails. Steve Rapson is the only choice for City Council Post 3. I endorse him because he supports my views for Peachtree City government. Cass Poolman |
