It is truly hard to lose an election which you so badly wanted to win, and worked so hard to succeed, and accomplish.

However, Tracy and I did not go down this road alone. It took a lot of hard work and effort by many people to come as close to success as we did. It is due to all of our friends and neighbors and their unselfish efforts and support that make it all worthwhile.

We had hoped to be able to serve our community by following in Judge Stephenson’s footsteps, but that was not to be, as a majority of the citizens of our great county desired others to serve as our next probate court judge.

The results are not what we would have desired, but the many new friendships which we made and the existing friendships which we had the pleasure and honor to continue and expand will be with us forever.

At the end of the day, material possessions don’t matter, as the only things, which are truly meaningful, are the people in our lives who are special to us.

We are fortunate to have so many of you in our lives. We have no way of knowing what God has in store for us as we close one chapter in our lives, and look forward to the next. However, we know that He has a plan for us.

It is extremely comforting to know that you, our friends, neighbors and family will continue to remain in our lives wherever life may lead us in the future.

Words of thanks can never adequately convey our heartfelt thanks to each of you for all of your help and support and the love that you exhibited to us during this campaign.

Just know that we love each of you, and stand ready to help and assist each of you whenever the need may arise in the future.

Also please know that we appreciate all that you did for us in our effort to serve our fellow citizens of Fayette County, and that we love and respect you all.

Steve and Tracy Kiser
