Mr. and Mrs. John Doss of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Jeanaye Doss, to Capt. Cory Clagett, son of Thomas Clagett of New Baden, Ill. and Mrs. Karen Clagett of Germantown, Ill.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone and a 2006 graduate of Clayton State University, with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She currently is working at Charleston Neurosurgery and will begin a masters program in the spring.

The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Wesclin High School in Trenton, Ill., and a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of Saint Louis University, with a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering. He is an officer in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Charleston AFB, S.C., where he is a C-17 pilot. He is enrolled in a masters program at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

The wedding will be in March, 2009.
