Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Kell of Sharpsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Anne Kell, to Thaddeus Young Carson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Carson of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Gaylord Maxwell of Madison. She is a graduate of Mercer University where she earned bachelor’s degrees in technical communications and business marketing. She is employed by Ocozzio as a web content management specialist.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Mercer University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He is a third year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

An Aug. 16, 2008, wedding is planned at the First Presbyterian Church in Macon. Following a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple will reside in Augusta.
