The Newnan Community Theatre Company (NCTC) has decided help raise money and gather items for a great cause.

For the closing weekend of “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” this weekend, July 18, 19 and 20, NCTC will be gathering toy donations for Joey's Toy Box.

Joey's Toy Box provides support for the Child Life program at the AFLAC Cancer Center & Blood Disorders Service located at the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. If a child has had a particularly rough experience, he/she can go to the toy closet and pick out a special toy or stuffed animal to take home. Unfortunately their budget is limited and their toy closet relies mainly on donations they receive during the holidays.

NCTC is encouraging their patrons to contribute by giving a dollar off admission on the above dates when they make a donation or bring in a toy for donation. Please visit Joey's Toy Box's website, http://joeystoybox.net/wishlist.aspx, for guidelines for donating toys.
