The Children of Promise Mentoring Program is a mentoring program for children affected by incarceration. The program is looking for those children as well as adults to be a positive role model in the life a child. To qualify as a mentee child, you must meet the following criteria: Have at least one parent who is incarcerated; reside in south Fulton, Clayton, Henry or Fayette county; complete the application process; and agree to a one-year commitment to the program. To qualify as a mentoring adult, you must meet the following criteria: Must be18 years of age or older; reside in metro Atlanta; complete the application and screening process; and agree to a one-year commitment to the program.
