Providence BBQ will feature Rich Wagner
Providence United Methodist Church will host a family barbecue event Tuesday, July 22, at 6 p.m. Special guest will be Rich Wagner of California who, with his family, is biking across America to promote his book, “The Expeditionary Man.” The church is at 592 Bernhard Rd. in south Fayette County. Carriage Lane plans yard sale Aug. 1 & 2
Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a yard sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Proceeds will go to Ranch on Jesus Orphanage Ministries in Uganda, Africa. Donations for the yard sale will be accepted Monday through Thursday, July 28-31, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Bring new and used items to the back of the building. The church is at 101 Carriage Lane, off Ga. Hwy. 54, across the highway from Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Soccer registration opens at Flat Creek
Registration for Upward Soccer at Flat Creek Baptist Church is now open and will continue through Aug. 9. Early bird discount price is $75 for those who sign up before Aug. 1. After that, the price is $85. Practices begin the week of Aug. 25 and games begin Sept. 13.
