Jo Solomon Webb, 90, Union City, died July 1, 2008. She was a volunteer at Christian City. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Webb Jr., and a daughter, Jackie Moore. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Forest Park. Survivors include her sons, Roy E. and Peggy Webb, Marietta, and Billy J. and Lynda Webb, Ellijay; a daughter, Carolyn and Gary Gilbert, Dadeville, Ala.; a son-in-law, James C. Moore, College Park; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Prayers & Patches, Hopewell United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 70, Tyrone, GA 30290.
