Key voice of reason on school board, frugal with tax dollarsTue, 07/08/2008 - 3:49pm

I want to express my admiration for Marion Key. I have followed her service on the Fayette County School Board and have always known her to be honest, open, caring and involved with the teachers, students and administrators. She visits every school in the system annually in an effort to be accessible and informed. It is not surprising to me that she is only one of two out of seven School Board candidates who agreed to answer questions posed by The Citizen. This is confirmation of the honesty and openness she always exhibits. Marion has been a voice of reason and has been frugal with tax dollars. However, many of her practical ideas are defeated by three of the remaining board members, who normally vote in a block. Don’t forget on July 15 to go to the polls and re-elect a person who accepts the responsibility of answering the tough questions. That person is Marion Key.
