Newnan resident John Blankenship has released three new books this year. ”Consequences” is a unique approach to financial planning intended to motivate young adults. ”RobotBASIC Projects for Beginners” teaches programming using interesting examples involving computer graphics and video games. ”Robot Programmer’s Bonanza,” published by McGraw-Hill, is the first hands-on programming guide for today’s robot hobbyist.

Blankenship worked at DeVry University in Decatur for 33 years. He retired several years ago and moved to Newnan, Ga. because of its charm and relaxed lifestyle.

The books are available through many local bookstores and from www.Amazon.com. Blankenship will be at Hasting’s Bookstore in Newnan on Saturday, July 12, from 3-5 p.m. to meet readers. You can also get more information about his work at www.RobotBASIC.com and www.ConsequencesTheBook.com.
