Ray J. Caldwell II, 48, Union City, died June 26, 2008. He was born Nov. 9, 1959 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Jeremiah and Cora Evelyn Brady Caldwell Sr., and a brother, Dallas Smith. Graveside services were at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include a daughter, Christina and Jack Phillips; sisters, Barbara Sanders, Stockbridge, Audra Martin Dallas, Ga., Rita and George Sitting, Lake Charles, La., and Romona and Joe Blanton, Jenkinsburg, Ga.; and extended family Walter and Willene Pierce, Deborah, Cassie, Kathleen, Wayne McLamb, Bubba and Nicholas, Nixola Pierce, and Anita Strickland. Memorial donations may be given to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
