Ralph K. “Bud” and Cindy Hendrix of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Elizabeth Hendrix, to Brian Michael Parsons, son of Ron Parsons of Susquehanna, Pa. and Janet Valentine of Douglasville.

The bride-elect’s grandparents are Virginia Dawkins of Peachtree City and the late Ralph Dawkins, and Ralph and Sara Hendrix of Valdosta. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in biology. She is attending medical school at Mercer University.

The groom-elect’s grandparents are Bob and Betty Valentine of Grove City, Ohio, and Walter and Mary Rentner of Susquehanna, Pa. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of fine arts. He is employed by Quest Diagnostics as an account representative.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville.
