Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Colquitt of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Tamika Nicole Hudson, to Martice Armon Ball, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Darnell Ball of McDonough. The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School of Atlanta and a 2004 graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, and graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of The Olivet Church of Fayetteville, and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is employed as a school teacher with the Atlanta Public School System and is pursuing a master’s in education from Mercer University, Tift College of Education. The groom-elect also is a 2000 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School of Atlanta and a 2004 graduate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned a bachelor of science degree in finance. He is a member of New Life Baptist Church of Lithonia and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is an employee of the Atlanta Public School System, pursuing a master’s in education from Mercer University, Tift College of Education. The wedding will be July 12, 2008 in Peachtree City.
