“We at Brayson Homes are extremely proud to be a part of the builder team at Heron Bay, which was named Community of the Year at the 2005 Professionalism Awards held recently at the World Congress Center in Atlanta,” said John Kamin, vice president of sales and marketing for Brayson Homes.

“We currently have two neighborhoods, The Gables and Pinehurst, in this award-winning community,” Kamin pointed out.

The Professionalism Awards is the annual program produced by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council to recognize the most outstanding professionals in Atlanta’s home building industry. This year’s presentation event was held recently at a black-tie awards dinner and program at the Georgia World Congress Center and attracted a crowd of over 1,400.

The program gives members of the association the opportunity to compete with their industry professionals in building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement areas. This year, a select group of industry professionals traveled to Atlanta from across the United States during August to judge the hundreds of entries.

Heron Bay is Minerva Properties’ premier new resort-styled community in Henry and Spalding counties. Offering a fun, relaxed lifestyle, the development features a huge lake, 18-hole Canongate golf course, aquatic center, tennis, nature trails, and other amenities. Encompassing 1,150 acres along the eastern shore of Henry’s County’s beautiful 1,100-acre Cole Reservoir, Heron Bay will ultimately be home for nearly 1,700 families in a location only half an hour southeast of Downtown Atlanta. The development is located off Highway 155 in the Locust Grove area and is just five miles from I-75 off Exit 216.

The Gables at Heron Bay is Brayson Homes’ neighborhood of 92 ranch homes in the Spalding County portion of Heron Bay. With homes priced from the low to high $200,000s, The Gables has only three unsold inventory homes, plus the two model homes are now also for sale. Amber Butler, the on-site new home advisor in The Gables, can be contacted at 770-898-9058.

Located in the Henry County part of the development, Pinehurst is a 129-home neighborhood priced from the $160,000s to the mid $200,000s. Pinehurst is in its second and final phase with only 11 inventory homes and 60 homesites still on the market. Jessica Mooney, the on-site new home advisor for Brayson Homes in this neighborhood, can be reached at 678-610-5500.

Gwinnett County-based Brayson Homes, which was founded in 1977, has sold over 8,000 new homes throughout the Metro Atlanta area during its 28-year history. The company’s current communities and neighborhoods include The Enclave at Diamond Ridge in Cherokee County; Neal Pointe in Clayton County; The Dale at SummerGrove in Coweta County; Cedar Walk in DeKalb County; Clearwater Pointe in Henry County; Southwoods at Mirror Lake in Douglas County; Bramlett Station, Brookside Crossing, Fairmont on the Park, Charleston Row, and The Reserve at Lakeside in Gwinnett County; and Saddlebrook and The Meadows in Newton County.

Brayson Homes is ranked No. 10 in Atlanta Business Chronicle's annual listing of Atlanta's Top 25 homebuilders, and is ranked as a Top 100 Builder by Builder Magazine.
