The Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department is having an organizational meeting to discuss a potential 7th and 8th Grade Teen Leadership Program. The meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:30pm at Peachtree City Council Chambers, 151 Willowbend Road. This would be a great opportunity for 7th and 8th graders to learn about government, plan events and trips and serve their community with service projects, etc. This meeting is open to any 7th or 8th grader who attends a middle school in Fayette County or any 7th or 8th grader who is home schooled and resides in Fayette County.
