On Aug. 1 and 2, best-selling Christian author Beth Moore will deliver a message from Kentucky to an estimated 80,000 women across the country.

Local residents will have the opportunity to see the popular Bible teacher live without leaving Fayetteville.

McDonough Road Baptist Church, in partnership with LifeWay Women’s Events and Church Communication Network (CCN), will host a simulcast broadcast live via satellite from Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky.

Some 600 churches across the U.S., including McDonough Road, are participating.

The simulcast event is in conjunction with the Living Proof Live event in Louisville. While an estimated 9,000 will participate live from Louisville, simulcast technology enables nearly ten times as many women across the nation to experience the event.

Living Proof Live is a unique women’s event with no two bearing the same message. Moore’s focus is on the scripture she says God leads her to teach for each specific location.

Her compelling style of teaching the Bible and sharing her own journey is said to resonate with women of different ages, races, backgrounds and denominations around the world.

“Our deep and genuine desire is to see the Holy Spirit of the living God poured out on people so that the lost are found, the weary are revived, and Christ is glorified through lives unleashed to bear much fruit,” says Moore. “We have one goal: people coming to love Jesus Christ with a passion through the study of His Word.”

“We are so excited to host this event for the ladies in our community,” said Debbie Kilgore of the Women’s Ministry Team at McDonough Road Baptist Church. “This promises to be a very enriching and uplifting experience and we know all who attend will be tremendously blessed.”

McDonough Road Baptist Church is at 352 McDonough Rd., just past the driver’s license offices. For additional information or to purchase tickets, go to www.mcdonoughroad.org or call 770-460-5423.
