Mr. and Mrs. David Underwood of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Lauren, to Lieutenant Junior Grade Seth Harbin, son of Dr. and Mrs. Stacy Harbin of Madisonville, Ky.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2007 graduate of Samford University where she received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition. She recently finished her dietetic internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and is studying for her registered dietitian board examination.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Kentucky and a 2005 graduate of the Naval Academy where he earned a bachelor of science in economics. He is currently serving as a Naval flight officer in Fairecondron two (VQ-2) which is stationed at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash.

The wedding will be June 28, 2008, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church followed by a reception at Flat Creek Country Club. After a honeymoon in the Caribbean the couple will reside in Oak Harbor, Wash.
