Why don't we hire them?

All of them being fired and laid off?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to work them some instead of giving them unemployment pay?

We would get some work anyway for about the same money and everyone would have a job.

Just borrow some money or sell some bonds if cash is short. Asia may want some of the local loans also!

I remember the CCC camp boys building dams, roads, cutting brush (kudzoo) and growing food in the 30s.

This here service economy ain't gonna last as long as the agriculture economy or the industrial economy did---no way.
