Tiger Scouts visit Dixie Wing Museum

Recently, Pack 409’s Den 3 Tiger Scouts visited The Dixie Wing Museum of the Commemorative Air Force, located on Echo Court near Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

This museum is a non-profit organization and is operated solely by volunteers. Their purpose is to keep the history of American air-power alive.

While touring this facility, people of all ages can view a complete collection of combat aircraft, which were flown by pilots from all the military branches in WWII.

The Scouts had the opportunity to view a T-6 airplane, owned and operated by John "Skipper" Hyle, member of the Commemorative Air Force and an Air Force veteran.
