Fayette Senior Services to host prescription medicine lunch and learnWed, 06/18/2008 - 9:16am

Fayette Senior Services will host a new Lunch & Learn session entitled “The Pharmacist is In,” presented by Medicare Part D expert and pharmacist, Ralph Balchin of Jones Pharmacy in Fayetteville. This informative session can help you get answers to your prescription and non-prescription medication questions. Balchin will also prescribe common-sense tips and tools for medication management and participants will learn how to avoid unpleasant side effects that are often associated with duplicate or outdated medications. The informative program will be held at on June 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fayette Senior Services Life Enrichment Center located at 4 Center Drive in Fayetteville (across from the Fayette County Justice Center). The cost is $5 and includes lunch prepared by the Center’s own Chef Todd Rossi. To register call 770-461-0813. Advanced registration is required but the registration fee can be paid at the door.
