Mr. and Mrs. Byron Burton Mangum, Jr. of Martinez announce the engagement of their daughter, Franziska Lauren Mangum, to David Andrew Condon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Thomas Condon of Peachtree City.

The wedding is planned for July 5, 2008, at First Christian Church in Augusta.

Miss Mangum is the granddaughter of Mrs. Franziska Rosier of Evans and the late Mr. Raymond C. Rosier, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Byron B. Mangum, Sr. of Grovetown, Ga. She received a bachelor of science degree in physics from Furman University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is also a graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in biomedical engineering. Miss Mangum is employed by Medtronic in Atlanta.

Mr. Condon is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herman H. Egner of Peachtree City and Mrs. Dorothy Condon and the late Mr. Robert E. Condon of Winter Springs, Fla. He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Mr. Condon is employed by Barrett, Woodyard and Associates in Atlanta.
