Summer Jobs

Kids looking for summer jobs are failing 80% of the time this summer to find one.
Those jobs are taken by people needing additional income to get by in these times of inflationary recession, or by really old people for the same reasons. I met an 89 year old WW2 vet recently, bagging groceries.

Also we now have a rather large group of people who have given up looking for work and are no longer eligible for unemployment wages. Some of them get 15-20 hours per week of work at low wages.

Industry has also laid off many workers and new job creations have really slowed.
If something doesn't have to be done now, it is put off in many cases.

We have approximately two years worth of new homes currently for sale in inventory. Some specialty and expensive homes continue at a slower pace.
Evander's home is for sale if interested: only 2million down and payments of a million per year will buy it. Yearly expenses to run it are unknown!
