“Surf’s Up” will kick off this year’s free Family Film Nights at the Villages Amphitheater on June 21. This popular event in Fayetteville is sponsored by Chick-fil-A, Webb, Lindsey & Wade Attorneys at Law, and Fayetteville Main Street Tourism Association. Families are invited to bring their own chairs or blanket and will be treated to complimentary Chick-fil-A sandwiches, drinks and chips as part of a special Fayetteville Dwarf House customer appreciation promotion. Doug Mickey of the Fayetteville Dwarf House is also promising other surprises such as a visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow and other giveaways. “This is the seventh year that we have offered our free Family Film Nights, and this event has proven time and time again to be a favorite among our amphitheater attendees,” remarked Nancy Price, director of Fayetteville Downtown Development and Main Street. The gates will open at 7 p.m. that evening so that everyone can enjoy all of the Chick-fil-A activities prior to the movie. The movie will begin once it gets dark, at approximately 9 p.m. For further information about the movies, call the Historic Train Depot at 770-719-4173. login to post comments |
