Mary Morgan Kelley, 88, died May 16, 2008. She was born Nov. 30, 1919 in Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer S. and Mattie Lizzie Ward Morgan, and her husband in 1994, Willie Howell Kelley. She was retired from Sears Roebuck with 25 years of service. Following retirement she enjoyed working for Morgan Jewelers. For over 60 years she was a devoted member of Newnan First Baptist Church and was active in all the programs of the church until her health prevented participation. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Dale Patterson officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan. Survivors include her children, Ronald and Imma Kelley, Lilburn, Robert and Judy Kelley, Dothan, Ala., and Joan Kelley, Cornelia, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Frances Morgan Duke, Hinesville, Fred Morgan, Newnan, Ferrell Morgan, Toccoa, and Elizabeth Morgan Anderson, Marietta. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Ste. 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
