Marie Powell, CORRAL receive DAR Community Service Award

Marie Powell, co-founder of Coweta Organization for Riding, Rehabilitation and Learning (CORRAL), accepted the Daughters of the American Revolution Community Service Award from Nancy Olsen, vice regent, General Daniel Newnan Chapter, NSDAR.

The Community Service Award recognizes worthy residents, from a variety of walks of life, for voluntary achievements in cultural, educational, humanitarian, patriotic, historical and citizenship endeavors, or in environmental conservation.

CORRAL was founded in 1988 by Brown and Marie Powell to benefit children with disabilities.
