James E. "Boe" Lawhorne, 72, Fayetteville, died May 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Blanche Snodgrass. Services were at Harp's Crossing Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Florence A. Lawhorne, Fayetteville; a son, Jay Lawhorne, Hoboken; stepsons, Robert and Marie Miles, Covington, and Steven and Malika Myles, Greenville, S.C. ; daughters, Kellie Landoll and Anna Mangum, both of Blackshear; and 13 grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
