Vassey Dental Partners

The staff at Vassey Dental Partners recently dabbled in the culinary industry when they published a cookbook and donated the proceeds from sales to Fayette Youth Protection Homes. The project, the brainchild of Dr. Michelle Konwick, raised $2,000 for the local non-profit organization which provides shelter to children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect. With 30 staff members contributing their favorite recipes and offering input on layout and design, the cookbook sells for $10 and offers a variety of mouth-watering recipes. Konwick said, “We put the cookbooks on display in patient rooms and in the waiting room. When patients learned proceeds were going toward such a good cause, the books just flew off the shelf.” Copies are still available and can be purchased by calling 770-487-5346. Photo/Special.
