McIntosh State Bank recently announced Tammy Barber was named the 2007 Employee of the Year for the McDonough office.

Barber joined the bank as a loan secretary in November 2005.

On the nomination forms, Barber’s peers wrote about her good attitude and great sense of humor, stating she is dedicated and a caring co-worker who always encourages others. Barber has headed up the March of Dimes for the McDonough office for the past two years and has raised thousands of dollars for this great cause.

She is a graduate of M.D. Collins High School and attended Clayton Jr. College. She currently resides in Fayetteville with her husband, David, and their four children. In her spare time, Barber enjoys spending time with her children, reading, journaling memories for her children and collecting photos.
