Free basketball and soccer camps for elementary children

As part of a summer mission project, Fayetteville First Baptist Church is offering free basketball and soccer camps to elementary aged children for the week of June 9-13.
The soccer camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon at East Fayette Elementary. It will be for up coming second through fifth grade students.

Activities will include daily skill sessions, games to practice skills learned, snack time and devotion time. The second half of the day will be spent playing small sided games. The week will conclude with a 3v3 tournament.
Participants are asked to bring with them a water bottle, shin guards, and an age appropriate soccer ball, if they have one.

The basketball camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and is for those who have completed second grade through sixth grade. The camp will include skill sessions as well as daily games and devotion time. The camp will be held at Fayetteville First Baptist, located one block east of the courthouse square.

There will also be a 3v3 tournament for adults on Friday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., a 3v3 tournament for high school students on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and both groups are invited to participate in the tournament on Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
