Former MLB player to speak at HeritageTue, 06/03/2008 - 12:54pm

Heritage Christian Church of Fayetteville/Peachtree City will host a Men’s Breakfast Saturday June 14, at 8 a.m., featuring former MLB player Scott Fletcher as guest speaker. Fletcher, who resides in Fayetteville, broke into the major leagues with the Chicago Cubs April 25, 1981. He has 15 years of major league experience as a middle infielder, playing with the Cubs, White Sox, Rangers, Red Sox, Tigers, and Brewers. In 1986 he was named American League Player of the month for July. He batted .300 for the season, and led the Rangers with 34 doubles. Since retiring, he now runs Fletcher Baseball and is co-founder and development consultant of RightView Pro Software. Men of all denominations are invited.
