Kedron students first in math

The third grade enrichment students at Kedron Elementary School have proven that they have some of the best math skills in the nation by placing first in both the national and regional MathFax competition. The students competed against 53 schools in the nation and 12 school regionally. In addition to team honors, some students also received individual awards. Kevin Liow placed first in the regional competition and second nationally. Victor Cama and Jiaxing Liu tied for second place in the region and fourth place in the nation. There were 468 students in the regional competition and 1414 students at the national level. Pictured are: Jiaxing Liu, Kevin Liow, Enrichment teacher, Susan Kozak, and Victor Cama.
