Next phase of Senoia makeover set to begin

The historic Gin Property in Senoia is now ready to become the latest addition to the major makeover of Senoia.

Project director Scott Tigchelaar said site improvements on the property adjacent to the Post Office should be completed by early July, allowing construction to commence on the first brownstones, factory lofts, live-work townhomes, and single family homes... all designed to blend seamlessly with Senoia's early 1900's architectural style.

Tigchelaar said in an email this week that more than 185 people have added their name to the list for a residence on the Gin Property. However, the entire project will only accommodate less than 100 homes.

The Gin Property includes high end products ranging from a two bedroom factory loft, to a luxury 3 story brownstone with rooftop terrace and a private elevator. Pricing will therefore span a broad range, from $300,000 to $750,000, depending on the lot and the type of residence being purchased.

Tigchelaar wants to meet with prospective buyers to review conceptual site plans, house plans, and floorplans. If you are excited about the Historic Senoia Project, and believe the Gin Property Residences might just be where you'd like to make your next home, please join us for a private 'imagineering' event on June 5 at 20 Main Street in Senoia at 7 p.m.

You'll have an opportunity to meet the builders, see examples of their work, review the latest conceptual details of the Gin Property... and perhaps reserve your place in the first phase of construction.
