The Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity ReStore started in Senoia with a yard sale under a tent and in a garage for one Saturday a month. After realizing the needs of the people and with the strong support from the community, the ReStore was able to re-locate to its current location on Ga. Highway 16 East in May of 2005.

The group is celebrating the third anniversary with a sale May 31st from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The ReStore offers a unique shopping experience as an outlet center stocked full of incredible deals that change daily! The Habitat ReStore offers a wide variety of items including furniture, lighting, cabinets, appliances, plumbing, flooring, windows, doors and building materials at a significantly reduced price.

And if that’s not enough, we will have the first Coweta Youth Build volunteers here selling food and drinks. Never, before now, have the youth of Coweta County and surrounding areas united to build a Habitat home.

The biggest challenge the youth face is raising the funds to build this home. They need to raise a least half of the $60,000 needed before they can start.

Every dollar raised, every item sold May 31 will be directly allocated towards the firstCoweta Youth Build. The Habitat ReStore will be offering unbelievable discounts on items already marked 50 percent below retail value! Two $50 gift certificates will be given away as well!

The ReStore is located at 1082 Ga. Highway 16 East in Newnan. For more information, please call Sharon Hazel at 770-252-4061 or visit our website at www.nchch.org.
