Robert Edward Hembree, 73, Fayetteville, died May 19, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Girtha Bernida Sorrow Hembree. He was a creative person receiving awards for his antique car and tractor restorations. He was a self-taught musician learning to play the piano, guitar, and mouth harp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, humor, and spending time with family and friends. Memorial services will be private. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anne Smith Hembree; a son, Robert N. Hembree; daughters, Sherry Lynne Hembree Sutton, Karen Elizabeth Hembree, and Wendy Lee Dowell; five brothers; five sisters; and eight grandchildren. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
