Allene Baker Bearden, 84, Fayetteville, died May 16, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy C. Bearden, and a son, Troy David Bearden. She was graduated from St. Benard's School of Nursing in Jonesboro, Ark. Memorial services were held at the West residence with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include daughters, Carol Dene Bearden and Deborah Bearden West; her twin sister, Pat Mathis; grandchildren, Baker, Troy, Jamie, and Vanessa; and great-grandchildren Baker II and Jeremiah. Memorial contributions may be made to Fayetteville First Baptist Church or cancer research. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
