Team 8A at Booth Middle School collected $400 for Honor Flight Fayette, to send a World War II Veteran to Washington D.C. Last week veterans were taken to visit the memorial built in their honor in the nation’s capitol. The father and uncles of history teacher Salli Rees fought in the war, so the team found it appropriate to honor these brave men.
