Newnan resident Elizabeth Byrne was honored as the New Neighbor League Club’s May New Neighbor of the Month. Byrne has held several positions within the club in the past two years, serving as treasurer, chair of subscriptions and mailings, and ways and means. She was co-chair of luncheons and twice served as socials assistant.

Byrne has also served her community as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and knits baby caps for the hospital. She and her husband Russell moved to the area to be closer to children and grandchildren.
