Reason for purchase kept under wraps

Senoia is doing some property hunting.

City Administrator wouldn’t say what tract the city is looking at, but confirmed Tuesday that the City Council approved a go-ahead to conduct an environmental study on the parcel.

City officials are keeping the parcel’s identity secret to prevent competition from developing for it.

Ferry said the city is not looking to relocate City Hall at this time, so this parcel under consideration for purchase won’t be used for that purpose.
