Olivet Baptist’s youth week continues through SundayTue, 01/17/2006 - 4:13pm

Olivet Baptist Church and Ministries’ Youth Week 2006 continues through this Sunday and will feature special events tonight, Thursday and Sunday. The second day of a two-day revival continues tonight, Jan. 18, with the Rev. Cory Jones, the young adult pastor of the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta, preaching. The Jackson Memorial Baptist Church Outreach Choir and soloist Anyee Clark will be the special guests for Wednesday’s service. On Thursday, Jan. 19, Olivet youth will sponsor a city-wide Gospel Explosion featuring youth talent from a variety of metro-Atlanta churches. Special youth services will be held Sunday, Jan. 22, at 10:45 a.m. The guest minister for this service will be the Rev Olujimi Brown, associate pastor of community empowerment and evangelism, at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Atlanta. The Olivet Youth Choir will sing and the Dance Ministry will perform. Yasmine Lockett, Olivet’s artist in residence will also perform at this high praise worship service.
